Bark, the omnichannel dog brand and creator of BarkBox, is partnering with Crocs on a new foot, er, paw-wear collection for furry friends. Current subscribers of BarkBox and Super Chewer, a monthly subscription of tough toys, can add Pet Crocs to their next box, while new subscribers can receive them as a welcome gift when they sign up. Shoppers also can browse and buy matching shoes for their “pet babies” at Crocs.com and in Crocs stores, while supplies last.
Crocs reached out to the Bark team to redesign the company’s classic clog specifically for dogs. The Pet Crocs are made from breathable EVA foam and feature an adjustable strap for added support, grippy tread bottoms and ventilation holes on top. The shoes are available in three sizes: Small (for dogs weighing 15 to 25 pounds), Medium (for dogs weighing 26 to 50 pounds), and Large (for dogs weighing 51 to 80 pounds).
“For years, Bark customers have begged for us to design Crocs for dogs, so we were excited when Crocs reached out asking our dog-obsessed team to design the shoes from a dog’s perspective,” said Dave Stangle, VP of Brand Marketing at Bark in a statement. “This partnership is about more than just shoes. It’s a celebration of the fun and quirky bond between dogs and their humans, and another way to bring dogs and humans together. By teaming up with Crocs, a company known for its unique style and loyal fan base, we’re showing the world what happens when two iconic brands come together to create something people have been craving for a long time.”
This isn’t the first time Bark has pushed creative limits for its base of passionate pet parents. In April 2024, the company announced the launch of its “luxury airline for dogs,” which quickly expanded to include seven new international and domestic routes.
