The Deli is an island with a two-tones copper ceiling and black showcases. The center of the island features an antique mirror giving character to the whole space. All the islands are flanked by the perimeters of gourmet kitchen, bakery and chocolates. All finished with different tones of wood that creating patterns to identify each different area.

A food island in near the meat and fish departments, Bar Do Mar has a circular salt water fish tank right in the middle. The counter is made of glass that is retro illuminated, and the seating is all white leather, which contrasts with the blue tones.

The “cava” wine department features rusted imitation tile on the floor and an imitation coffered wood ceiling, which give character to the space.

The cava area is made up of three different glass-enclosed spaces—one for high-end wines, another one is a humidor room for cigars and the last one for sommeliers classes and wine tasting. All of the spaces are treated with the same material and finishes that create a great wine buying experience.

Liquors is a completely different space and shopping experience than the wine area. Dark floor tile with retro illuminated walls and niches that present the merchandise are covered by a vaulted metal ceiling.

Designed by PDT Intl., City Market Antea is a high-end supermarket/gourmet shop. The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) recently awarded the firm a Gold Award in the Retail category of the 2017 ICSC Latin American Shopping Center Awards competition, for this project.

The produce section is well illuminated, featuring chandeliers that hang from a custom cork ceiling. Wood floors and wood fixtures present a rustic, yet sophisticated environment.
