JDA has launched the JDA Luminate Control Tower, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that lets companies see, interpret and act on real-time information across the entire supply chain and third-party digital ecosystem. The tool is designed to enable retailers to sense unexpected events, identify the potential impact and prescribe corrective actions with machine learning-based guidance.
The system serves as a “crisis control center” that conducts what-if analysis for different resolution options, then recommends or executes optimal courses of action that can balance short-term demands with long-term strategic goals. The software considers both internal and external digital signals — including social media, news, events, weather and IoT signals — that affect sources including distributors, suppliers and partners.

JDA Luminate Control Tower gives retailers a greater understanding of consumer sentiment, supply conditions, demand insights and any correlation to demand fluctuations. It enables companies to predict the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for deliveries based on real-time updates of weather, traffic, congestion and other factors, as well as identifying accurate inventory positions based on delivery ETAs.
