PetSmart Hires New EVP Of Customer Experience

PetSmart has named Phil Bowman Executive Vice President of Customer Experience, a new position within the organization. Bowman, who will report directly to President and CEO David Lenhardt, will join the company on June 30, 2014.

Over the course of his career, Bowman has acquired extensive experience in brand-building, digital marketing, e-Commerce, customer data analytics, and creating an integrated customer experience. He most recently served as CMO at online security brokerage company TD Ameritrade. Bowman also has held positions at TD Bank Group, H&R Block, Sprint and PepsiCo.

As EVP of Customer Experience, Bowman will “play an important role in accelerating our omnichannel efforts so we are relevant to our customers however and whenever they shop, and in leveraging our customer data to connect in a more personalized way,” Lenhardt explained. “Phil brings the deep expertise needed to develop strategies for creating an unmatched customer experience, both in stores and online, and in developing growth strategies across all platforms.”
