Hibbett Sports has appointed Scott R. Humphrey as its Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective September 29.
Humphrey will oversee the company’s financial operations through the fiscal year ending February 1, 2020 and assist with the transition when a full-time replacement has been named. He most recently served as CFO for Ciner Resources, LP, a publicly traded mining company, and has experience in senior treasury positions with International and HYCO International, Inc.

Hibbett also is searching for a permanent CEO following CEO Jeff Rosenthal’s announcement of his plans to retire earlier this year after more than 21 years with the company.
