Canada Goose has named Matt Blonder as its first-ever Chief Digital Officer (CDO), one of five key appointments designed to drive the retailer’s five-year strategic growth plan.
As CDO, Blonder will drive the brand’s digital innovation and manage teams responsible for developing the company’s digital roadmap across both new and existing channels, as well as the company’s IT and insights team. Blonder brings 20 years’ experience in omnichannel DTC and digital marketing, most recently as President of Global Ecommerce at Wolverine Worldwide.
The other appointments, all effective immediately, are:
- Juliette Streichenberger as President of CGAG (Canada Goose International, including its Swiss affiliate AG) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA);
- Ana Mihaljevic as Head of Global Stores in addition to her current role as President, North America;
- Daniel Binder as Chief Transformation Officer and EVP, Sales Operations and Planning; and
- Patrick Bourke as SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development.

With performance luxury strongly resonating with EMEA consumers, Streichenberger’s focus will include expanding the brand’s ecommerce and store footprint. She brings nearly 30 years of global luxury expertise, having lead teams at Prada and LVMH. She joins Canada Goose from Hermès where she held the role of European Managing Director.
Mihaljevic joined Canada Goose in 2015 and has been critical to the growth trajectory of the retailer’s commercial business. As Head of Global Stores she will lead the long-term roadmap for the brand’s expansion, championing Canada Goose’s plans to more than double its footprint over the next five years.
Binder, who has been engaged in consulting and interim roles with Canada Goose, will now oversee the development and execution of the company’s efforts to ensure scalable growth. Prior to Canada Goose he held senior roles at DFS, a division of LVMH, and Macy’s.
Having joined Canada Goose in 2017, Bourke previously led the retailer’s investor relations and strategy functions. His new role’s responsibilities include the development, oversight and execution of Canada Goose corporate priorities as well as new business opportunities.
