Warby Parker has inked a three-year partnership with Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, a glasses wearer since the age of three and a Warby Parker wearer since middle school. During Manning’s debut in the Longhorns’ first game of the upcoming college football season, the retailer will premiere a new commercial and content featuring Manning and his father, Cooper. (Manning is the nephew of NFL pros Peyton and Eli Manning, and his grandfather Archie Manning was a former NFL quarterback.)
“As someone who spent their entire life wearing glasses, teaming up with Warby Parker felt like a very natural fit,” said Arch Manning in a statement. “They’ve always been my go-to glasses — I have a pair for every part of my life — and their Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program really resonates with me.”
Over the next three years, the partnership will feature the introduction of new eyewear collections, local Austin, Texas initiatives with Warby Parker’s school-based Pupils Project vision program and more.
“Arch is an exceptional athlete whose great vision extends beyond the field,” said Neil Blumenthal, Co-founder and Co-CEO at Warby Parker in a statement. “He’s been a customer for years, and now we’re excited to officially have him on our team. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.”
