Providing consistent, accurate and engaging product information across multiple touch points is critical to successfully interacting with customers today. To continually create frustration-free experiences for employees and customers, Crate and Barrel has become a co-developer of the Infor CloudSuite Retail software.
Infor CloudSuite Retail is designed to combine omnichannel retailing and unlimited attributes that feed machine learning capabilities. By integrating to the network, sourcing information from multiple suppliers will become more seamless for Crate and Barrel and, ultimately, speed time to market for new products.
“Tracking all of our product information became cumbersome and repetitive, and we reached a level where this key component of merchandising needed to be automated,” said Mike Relich, COO of Crate and Barrel in a statement. “We immediately saw value in partnering with Infor and taking advantage of the great platform they are building.”As a co-developer and partner, Crate and Barrel will “work alongside Infor to create a next generation system built upon 21st century thinking,” said Relich. “Infor’s end user approach to development will be combined with our knowledge of what goes into unique product offerings to produce a user experience that is not only beautiful but one that allows us to disrupt the industry.”

Crate and Barrel is the latest of several retailers that have become co-developers of Infor CloudSuite Retail. In September 2016, footwear retailer DSW announced that it would be a co-innovation partner for the Infor CloudSuite Retail product.
