Update: Accenture has completed its acquisition of Kurt Salmon’s retail strategy consulting business in the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan and China as of Sept. 22, 2016.
Accenture has agreed to acquire global strategy consulting firm Kurt Salmon. Through the acquisition, Accenture will be able to expand its strategic capabilities in order to deliver end-to-end consulting services to top retailers and private equity firms.

Founded in 1935, Kurt Salmon is known for operational strategy consulting focusing on logistics, supply chain, merchandising, product development, corporate strategy and due diligence and omnichannel retail strategy. The company has more than 260 employees serving clients in offices in the U.S., Germany, UK, Japan and China. Once the acquisition is complete, all Kurt Salmon employees will be expected to join the Accenture Strategy retail industry practice.
