Inter Ikea Group, parent company of furniture retailer Ikea, has entered a global partnership with payments platform Adyen. Using the solution provider’s single financial technology platform to gather data from its physical and digital channels will help Ikea identify shopping behaviors across touch points and uncover business opportunities relating to customer lifetime value.

The Adyen platform provides a closed-loop payment system that offers worldwide processing, acquiring, local payment methods and like-for-like settlement capabilities for Ikea franchisees, helping simplify financial reporting and customer data management. With a consolidated payment tech stack, Ikea hopes to minimize the risk of operational disturbances and improve its ability to troubleshoot.

“We are proud to partner with Ikea business to help scale their efforts to understand their customers and the behaviors that lead to long-term relationships with the iconic brand,” said Tobias Lindh, Managing Director, Nordics and Baltics for Adyen in a statement.
