Jean Dousset, a brand that specializes in designing lab-grown diamond jewelry, has opened its first flagship boutique in West Hollywood, Calif.
Created in partnership with Design, Bitches, the store represents the intersection of design, heritage and the future of luxury jewelry, reaffirming Jean Dousset’s recent rebrand and transformation to focus solely on lab-grown diamond jewelry. For example, the faceted steel storefront features diamond-like geometric elements inspired by the new Jean Dousset logo, and custom-designed displays aim to immerse passersby in the brand journey.
“Timing, confidence and opportunity converged as we proudly unveil our first flagship boutique, marking the culmination of my transformative journey as a designer and a total paradigm shift in the global diamond industry,” said Jean Dousset, Founder, Designer and CEO of Jean Dousset, and great-great-grandson of Louis Cartier. “With a physical retail presence, consumers can see the perfection of designer lab diamonds firsthand while adding that experiential element in acquiring the diamond jewelry they desire.”
A discovery wall highlights Jean Dousset’s top engagement ring designs, with each display exhibiting a style at three different angles. Additionally, a heritage wall, which is adorned with photos of Louis Cartier and significant milestones in Jean’s family, pays homage to the brand’s legacy. The combination of light-filled spaces, polished-nickel cases, natural materials and renewable cork floors creates an environment that “pays homage to the intricate process of transforming a diamond in the rough,” according to a company release.
Although walk-ins are welcome, the store provides personalized one-on-one appointments in a dedicated salon where clients can design custom diamond engagement rings.
