Co-Branded Bed Bath & Beyond/Container Store Debuts in Texas

Published: May 18, 2026

The first co-branded physical location melding The Container Store with Bed Bath & Beyond (BB&B) opened May 16 in Fort Worth, Texas. The Container Store’s organization solutions have been joined by BB&B’s dining, bedding and curtains, as well as its iconic towel wall and curated bed displays.

In April The Container Store prepared for phased integration of Bed Bath & Beyond products into its brick-and-mortar stores by liquidating approximately 30% of categories and SKUs to streamline its assortments. Bed Bath & Beyond had finalized its purchase of The Container Store earlier that month.

“This is an exciting step forward as we continue bringing our Everything Home vision to life,” said Amy Sullivan, President of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. in a statement. “By bringing together the strengths of these two iconic brands, we’re creating a more connected shopping experience that combines inspiration, organization, solutions and value for customers across every room in the home.”

Bed Bath & Beyond products will roll out in a phased approach across The Container Store’s 98 locations in coming months. Eventually, BB&B expects to operate a total of 300 stores across multiple formats, including co-branded stores, neighborhood formats, Bed Bath & Beyond Seasonal Living and BuyBuy Baby locations.

Given its ambitions, creating a unified experience across multiple banners has become an important priority for BB&B, which has been through numerous name and strategy changes over the past several years. In April BB&B partnered with Bilt to unite customer identity, loyalty and engagement across its brand portfolio, which includes The Container Store, Kirkland’s, Overstock and BuyBuy Baby.

This partnership between The Container Store and Bed Bath & Beyond was far from a foregone conclusion; in fact, both parties called off a proposed deal in November 2024 over The Container Store’s worries regarding the ability of Beyond, as the company was then known, to secure necessary financing. However, after The Container Store went through a brief December 2024 bankruptcy, the company emerged as a private entity in January 2025, and the deal was concluded last month.
