Ace Hardware Nails it with Uber Eats Partnership Across 3,700 Stores

Published: April 9, 2026

Ace Hardware has partnered with Uber Eats to enable both on-demand and scheduled delivery from 3,700 of its 5,200 U.S. stores, including locations in all 50 states. Worldwide, Ace operates a total of 8,8000 locally owned and operated stores.

“Ace is built on a network of locally-owned stores that are deeply rooted in the communities they serve, and partnering with Uber allows us to meet our customers wherever they are,” said Bill Kiss, Head of Digital at Ace Hardware in a statement. “Whether they’re tackling a last-minute project or planning ahead, our customers now have greater access to fast, flexible solutions for getting the products they need delivered right to their doorstep.”

The new Ace-Uber Eats relationship exemplifies the latter’s strategic moves beyond food delivery despite the “Eats” in its name. Uber Eats partnered with Hibbett Sports in October 2025, following a September 2025 partnership with Best Buy, partnerships with Dollar General and Dollar Tree in August 2025 and with Dick’s Sporting Goods in June 2025.

“Consumers are increasingly turning to Uber Eats for more than just meals,” said Hasim Amin, Head of Grocery and Retail for Uber in North America in a statement. “They rely on us for a variety of essentials, from painting supplies to mulch for the garden to the tools needed to kick off a weekend yard cleanup. We’re proud to welcome Ace Hardware’s extensive network and loyal customers to our platform.”

In August 2024 Ace Hardware announced a $1 billion investment in a new store design to mark its 100th anniversary, with the “Elevate Ace” design being rolled out to all Ace stores on a five-year schedule. In August 2025 Ace Hardware launched its Red Vest Media Network.
