Former Forrester Analyst Joins BrightTag As SVP Of Marketing


Cloud-based marketing and tag management solution provider BrightTag has named Forrester and SDL alum Joe Stanhope as its new Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing. In this role, Stanhope will oversee all marketing and product marketing initiatives, including the company’s brand and go-to-market strategy.

Stanhope joins BrightTag from his previous role as Chief Strategy Officer of Campaign Management and Analytics at SDL plc. During his tenure, Stanhope led the UK-based company’s product strategy and vision for marketing technology solutions and services.

Prior to working at SDL, Stanhope served as a Principal Analyst at Forrester. Stanhope covered digital intelligence and helped Forrester clients understand the technology, processes and organizational design necessary to deliver an engaging cross-channel customer experience. He also was one of the first industry analysts to research the emerging tag management market and anticipate the technology’s potential, which aligns efficiently with BrightTag’s position in the e-Commerce marketplace.
