Edgecase, a provider of adaptive navigation solutions, has appointed Susanne Bowen as CEO. In her position, Bowen will develop the company’s strategic vision and scale operations to meet business demands. Edgecase Co-Founder and former CEO Garrett Eastham will remain responsible for product and technology innovation as Chief Product Officer.
Over the past year, Edgecase has nearly doubled its revenue and client base. The Edgecase solution is designed to empower brands and retailers to expand their merchandising data and vocabulary to make search experiences more relevant. Retailers that partner with Edgecase are positioned to experience a number of benefits, including lower bounce rates, as well as increased page views, conversion rates and social sharing. Brands currently tapping Edgecase to create more inspirational shopping experiences include Crate & Barrel, Golfsmith, LDProducts and Urban Decay.
“Edgecase is coming off a record 2014 filled with industry-first retail innovations,” Eastham said. “Susanne’s leadership and experience will ensure that we capitalize on our unique opportunity to change the way that products are merchandised across the web, mobile and store. I look forward to working alongside Susanne as we cement our market leadership.”
