Julie Rosen, President of Retail at Bath & Body Works, will leave the company by “mutual agreement,” as the retailer eliminates her role. Most of the functions that had reported to Rosen will now report to CEO Gina Boswell, who was named to the post in November 2022.

The retailer also reaffirmed its guidance for its fiscal 2024, which will end in March 2025. Bath & Body Works forecasts a net sales decline of 2% to 4% for the fiscal year, relative to $7.43 million in net sales for fiscal 2023. In Q2, which ended Aug. 3, 2024, the retailer reported net sales of $1.53 million, a 2.1% decline from the same period the previous year.

“On behalf of the board and management team, I would like to thank Julie for her valuable contributions since she joined Bath & Body Works in 2020,” said Boswell in a statement. “Having made significant progress in fortifying our operating foundation and building our platform for long-term, sustainable growth, we believe that now is the right time for this change and that we will benefit from accelerated decision-making as a flatter organization. We are well-positioned heading into the holiday season and we remain relentlessly focused on growth and committed to bringing customers the compelling product, unique merchandising and brand storytelling for which Bath & Body Works is known.”
