Sporting goods retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors has named Thomas “Tom” Lamb as its new Executive VP and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Lamb brings 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising and strategy to the retailer, which operates 200 stores throughout the Southeast.
Lamb joins Academy Sports after 17 years with Lowe’s Companies, where he most recently served as CMO. He also held roles there including VP of Marketing and Director of Consumer Marketing. Prior to Lowe’s, Lamb served in various leadership roles at ING Financial, Thomson Reuters and BBDO.
