Apparel retailer UNIQLO is opening three new stores in California, and one in Connecticut, as part of the company’s U.S. expansion.
UNIQLO will open one of its first stores in the Southern California region at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif. The retailer also plans to open stores in three different Taubman shopping centers during 2014. Locations include the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, Calif., Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord, Calif., and Stamford Town Center in Stamford, Conn.
“Our shoppers are going to love this brand,” said William Taubman, Chief Operating Officer for Taubman. “We’re anxiously awaiting the spring openings at Stamford Town Center and Sunvalley Shopping Center and the fall opening in Beverly Center.”
Currently, UNIQLO has more than 1,300 stores worldwide.
