New Subscription Company Offers Mexico In A Box

A startup subscription retailer offers customers a monthly box containing all things Mexican. Mycajita launched earlier this month, offering a combination of small batch, boutique and artisanal items imported from Mexico or from local artisans. The monthly boxes include a combination of food and drink, art, history, textiles, home décor, fashion and music.

Monthly subscriptions are $39.99 including tax and shipping. Plans offer the options to skip a month, or cancel at any time. MyCajita offers corporate and seasonal gifts as well as an online store to purchase additional items or restock on previously received items.

The monthly themes include:

  • Café y Chocolate: Traditional artisanally crafted mugs, imported small batch chocolate and coffee, and everything needed to prepare Café de Olla and Mexican Hot Chocolate;

  • Contemporary Mexican Art: Limited edition prints;

  • Tequila Craft Cocktails: Everything needed to create a craft tequila cocktail at home; and

Salsa Roja en Molcajete: A traditional mortar and pestle, accompanied by fresh ingredients and celebrity chef recipes to prepare authentic Salsa Roja and other dishes.
