Crocs Upgrades To SAP Apparel and Footwear Supply Chain Solution

Crocs, a retailer and manufacturer of casual footwear, is upgrading to the SAP Apparel and Footwear supply chain management application from SAP. Implementation is underway at Crocs, which selected the industry-specific SAP software to help control a breadth of global supply chain operations, from procuring raw materials to delivering finished styles around the world.

“With SAP in place, we are confident we can expand our product and brand portfolio without feeling the growing pains through our technology platform,” said Scott Crutchfield, COO of Crocs. “As we extend global operations even further, it is important to maintain the right level of customer service and product availability as well as drive more operational efficiencies internally.”

With more than 300 footwear styles sold in more than 90 countries, Crocs required more scalable software than a legacy ERP system could provide, to help standardize processes and support multi-currency, multi-language and local country business requirements.  With SAP Apparel and Footwear, Crocs aims to better manage the large volumes of data associated with design variations, seasonality and customer value-added services.
