LeaseQuery, a lease accounting software provider, has launched LeaseGuru, a cloud-based lease accounting solution for public and private companies with fewer than 10 leases in their portfolio. The platform provides amortization schedules, ledger agnostic journal entries and tested complex calculations at the touch of a button.
The software has been vetted by trained accountants for accuracy and compliance, and is designed to enable retailers to run cost-effective disclosure reports within lease accounting standards such as ASC 842 and IFRS 16 and make changes to the leases at any stage. The software enables users to modify the leases, handle early terminations and extend lease terms.
