Chico’s FAS has appointed David Oliver, SVP – Finance, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, to the role of EVP – CFO and Chief Accounting Officer, effective June 24, 2023. Current EVP – CFO Patrick Guido has resigned to accept a position at another company where he can be located closer to his family.
Oliver has been with Chico’s since 2012 and served in multiple roles, including VP – Finance and Controller and Interim CFO and SVP – Controller. Prior to joining Chico’s Oliver held various finance roles at Supervalu and served as Executive Finance Officer at the Arden Group and The Vons Companies.
“We are excited about David’s appointment,” said Molly Langenstein, President and CEO at Chico’s in a statement. “David was instrumental in stewarding the Company for a year and a half as interim CFO during the early phase of the pandemic. His deep knowledge of Chico’s FAS, as well as his impressive financial experience and steady hand, will benefit the Company as we continue to make progress against our long-term strategic plan.”
