Roaming Hunger, an online marketplace that connects food trucks with events and brands, has partnered with Sleek, a skip-the-line solution provider, to launch an online ordering system for mobile food businesses. Mobile businesses will now be able to take orders in advance even if they serve multiple locations.
Additionally, rather than charge small businesses for using their solutions, Roaming Hunger and Sleek will share revenue from the fees paid by shoppers who order ahead using their tools. This feature is aimed at helping these companies survive the pandemic despite lower traffic volumes.
“Order ahead is an essential tool in today’s environment,” said Ross Resnick, CEO and Founder of Roaming Hunger in a statement. “By working with Sleek we were able to give mobile businesses the ability to take orders in advance, which was a big problem since they move to different locations, often many times in the same day.”
