Tilly’s Appoints New Chief Merchandising Officer

Tilly’s has appointed Tricia Smith as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. Smith will oversee merchandising operations and coordinate consistency in merchandising experiences both in-store and online.

Prior to joining the specialty apparel and footwear retailer, Smith had a 25-year tenure at Nordstrom serving in a variety of merchandise management roles.

“I am excited to have someone of Tricia’s extensive experience joining our Company,” said Ed Thomas, Tilly’s President and CEO in a statement. “Her tremendous track record of growth and strategic leadership will bring great value to Tilly’s as we continue to improve our business.”

The company also promoted its CFO Michael Henry to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
