European digital location marketing cloud provider uberall has partnered with Yelp to help strengthen local businesses’ ability to engage with their customers and drive more foot-traffic to their stores.
Yelp will now be available to uberall clients as a platform for managing their multi-location store data as well as monitoring their online reputations for each store within the cloud. These clients already leverage the uberall Local Marketing Cloud to manage their data across a global range of directories and platforms, enhancing each store location’s findability in search directories.
“Rich data is the backbone of Yelp, and without reliable location data, it doesn’t matter if that awesome restaurant around the corner has great double-chocolate fondue if you show up an hour after they closed,” said Chad Richard, Senior VP of Business and Corporate Development at Yelp in a statement. “By partnering with uberall, we hope to ensure consumers can find accurate information on Yelp, and businesses never lose a customer opportunity because their data was inaccurate.”

With uberall headquartered in Europe (while hosting a second office in Yelp’s home of San Francisco), the partnership provides a geographical and technical advantage for both companies. Uberall aims to attract more U.S. clients through Yelp’s network, and Yelp seeks to increase data accuracy in Europe with uberall.
