Sport Obermeyer, a skiwear and related apparel manufacturer, has implemented the Global Enterprise Suite (GES) from NGC Software, a provider of PLM, supply chain management and ERP. Sport Obermeyer currently sells its products through more than 600 specialty retailers, including REI, Zappos and Paragon Sports.
Anticipated benefits from the GES adoption include streamlined factory collaboration, faster time-to-market, improved workflow, enhanced reporting capabilities, and more creative and effective product design, according to NGC Software in a company press release.
“We feel we can double or quadruple the size of our company with the same manpower with NGC’s GES, because it will allow us to get more productivity out of our current employees,” said Greg Bannister, Technology Director of Sport Obermeyer. “This alone will give us a boost in profit and revenue.”
