Computop, a provider of payment services, has established an agreement with EOS Payment Solutions, a provider of receivables, information and liquidity management services, and a division of Otto Group.
As part of the agreement, Otto Group will leverage the Computop Paygate platform to process online payments for Otto.de, as well as more than 100 subsidiary retail brands, which include BonPrix, Freemans Grattan, Frankonia, Lascana and myToys.
Computop has the “reliable payment solutions” that the company “needed for our fast growing domestic and international e-Commerce business,” noted Marc Berg, CEO of Finnovato GmbH, the holding company for the Otto Group.

According to the business arrangement, EOS Payment will offer Computop Paygate to customers immediately.
The platform includes:
- More than 50 domestic and international payment methods;
- Access to a variety of international merchant-acquiring banks for card payments; and
- A fraud prevention solution.
“Instead of any further investment in our current online payment systems, we will now offer all our customers the Computop Paygate solution as our main payment platform,” said Karsten Cornelissen, CEO of EOS Payment Solutions. “Computop Paygate supports additional payment methods that our customers are demanding, as well as providing other relevant functionality and features that our customers need to improve their businesses.”
