Evergage, a personalization platform provider, has acquired the MyBuys merchandising products business from Magnetic, a digital advertising technology provider. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition extends Evergage’s retail penetration and brings a wider array of personalization capabilities to clients of MyBuys. This extension is vital to the company as personalization continues to play a greater role in retail.
Hundreds of e-Commerce companies already use the MyBuys platform to deliver product recommendations on their web sites and via email, utilizing online and offline data.

Evergage will be bringing MyBuys employees — including engineering, customer success and technical support professionals — onto its team. Evergage will migrate each MyBuys customer onto the Evergage personalization platform, which will deliver all the current capabilities of the MyBuys merchandising solution.
