Bargain Hunt, which bills itself as “The Greatest Extreme Savings Store on Earth!,” will be offering even steeper discounts during going-out-of-business sales at all 92 of its stores. The Nashville-based retailer, which operates across 10 states in the Midwest and Southeast, declared bankruptcy earlier this week and plans to shutter its store fleet by the end of February.

The sale is being managed by Hilco Consumer – Retail in a joint venture with Gordon Brothers and will include store fixtures and equipment. For consumers, Bargain Hunt’s assortment of apparel, toys, lawn and garden, automotive, pet and home décor products will be discounted by up to 40% off the lowest ticketed prices across the store, but discounts will be valid in stores only.

“Stores are stocked and new merchandise continues to arrive at steeply discounted prices,” said Ian Fredericks, CEO of Hilco Consumer – Retail in a statement. “We recommend shopping immediately for the best selection as this sale won’t last long.”
