Bloomingdale’s plans to open its third Bloomie’s location in Seattle’s University Village neighborhood some time in 2023. The retailer opened its first Bloomie’s store in Fairfax, Va. in September 2021 and a second store in the Chicagoland area in 2022.
The Bloomie’s stores offer a curated edit of top brands in a wide range of men’s and women’s categories including apparel, accessories, beauty and gifts. The small-format store’s moniker comes from the retailer’s long-time affectionate nickname.
“The new flexible store experience has been well received in other cities as it remains authentic to the Bloomingdale’s brand yet brings a new and exciting energy to our shoppers,” said Charles Anderson, Director of Stores at Bloomingdale’s in a statement. “We can’t wait to be a part of the community and for the people of Seattle to be a part of the Bloomie’s story.”
