E-Commerce personalization vendor BloomReach has acquired Hippo, an Amsterdam-based web content management company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Through the integration of Hippo’s technology and the BloomReach machine-learning engine, the company will be able to leverage data and algorithmic intelligence to create, build, personalize, market and measure digital experiences across verticals and geographies.
Hippo operates a content management system built around digital experience and performance. The company helps businesses understand their web site visitors to deliver the right content at the right time on any channel or touch point. The acquisition will provide BloomReach customers with an experience platform layer, allowing them to use data and algorithms to determine visitors’ intent and return a relevant experience.
