Vera Wang, a designer synonymous with wedding dresses, and David’s Bridal have expanded their relationship, with the vertically integrated retailer taking the full reins of both production and retail for the Vera Wang Bride portfolio. In 2026, the collection will be available in all David’s retail locations and online, with higher-end Vera Wang designs offered in Diamond & Pearls by David’s boutiques.

The partnership between David’s Bridal and Vera Wang, now owned by WHP Global, will soon expand to include accessories, gifts and Vera Wang Bride invitations and stationery. Planned innovations include the exclusive Vera Wang Bride x Pearl Couture, a couture edition of David’s Pearl Planner, the retailer’s proprietary AI-powered wedding planning tool introduced earlier this year.

Additionally, David’s vertically integrated design and manufacturing network will be responsible for full production of the Vera Wang Bride collection beginning in 2026. Managing every step from sketch to final stitch in-house will help David’s ensure quality, consistency and speed.

“Vera’s ability to balance fashion duality — intensely sensual artistry with rock and roll edge — parallels David’s new strategic vision as we innovate, modernize and reimagine our brand,” said Kelly Cook, CEO of David’s Bridal in a statement. “We revere this opportunity, as the world’s largest bridal manufacturer and leader in bridal retail, to taker Vera’s cherished and iconic Vera Wang Bride brand into its next chapter.”

To celebrate the partnership, David’s Bridal is reissuing a capsule collection of archival White by Vera Wang gowns under the Vera Wang Bride label, featuring popular designs from the companies’ earlier collaboration. The Vera Wang HAUTE business, offering custom couture bridal gowns and red-carpet looks, will continued to be operated independently by Vera Wang herself.

“As always, bridal remains its own emotional, complex and insanely romantic part of the fashion world,” said Wang in a statement. “After 37 years devoted to this craft, I will continue to explore the creativity and passion I have for all things wedding that continue to define our brand and our unique contribution to fashion and lifestyle.”
