Ed Stevens, Founder and CEO of Shopatron notes that “the consumer ultimately decides how business gets done” today. He said that an average of 30% of customers are picking up their online orders in-store, so retailers are reorienting about enabling a buy-anywhere, pickup anywhere experience. Shopatron provides a cloud-based delivery solution. The biggest challenge for retailers, he says, is organizational. “The online business is set up differently than the brick-and-mortar business, and who gets credit for the sale?”
