Superdry, a UK-based contemporary fashion brand, has formed a partnership with Klarna to offer buy now, pay later options. Superdry shoppers will now be able to pay later or pay in three installments in the UK, and pay in four installments in the U.S.
The enhanced payment options will roll out to other countries later this year as Klarna expands the availability of its pay later solution. Other retailers that are embracing alternative payment schedules include:
- Target has added Sezzle, an interest-free installment payments solution provider, to its startup incubator; and
- RTW Retailwinds, formerly New York & Company, has been reaching out to younger shoppers through nontraditional payment methods.
