Digital offer marketplace RetailMeNot, Inc. has appointed longtime management, operations and finance executive J. Scott Di Valerio as its new Chief Financial Officer. He replaces Louis Agnese who had performed as interim CFO.
Di Valerio was most recently CEO of Outerwall, which operates self-service interactive kiosks like Redbox and Coinstar. Di Valerio played a leading role in finance organization, strategy and operations. He started as CFO of Outerwall before being appointed CEO in late 2013.
“It is no secret that we conducted an extensive search for the right partner to serve as CFO and join our executive leadership team,” said Cotter Cunningham, CEO and Founder of RetailMeNot in a statement. “Scott will help RetailMeNot in our mission to grow our business while we provide shoppers with more ways to save money when they buy products and services from our 60,000 retail, restaurant and brand partners.”

In addition to appointing Di Valerio as CFO, RetailMeNot has chosen Agnese to continue in his role on the company’s Executive Leadership Team, and given Jonathan Kaplan a permanent role as General Counsel.
