Urban Outfitters Brings Seasonal Cheer to O’Hare and a Nike Bounce House to NYC

If there’s anywhere that could use a place to rest, relax and recharge, it’s an airport during the holiday season, and Urban Outfitters (UO) is supplying just such a place in one of the nation’s busiest hubs. The retailer’s Club Holiday pop-up, running through Dec. 14 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport’s Terminal 2, is part igloo and part sandcastle, giving visitors the chance to unwind, play games, build dream wish lists in partnership with Canva and have a chance to win UO swag.

In New York City, UO has partnered with Nike for a giant puffer-inspired bounce house to celebrate the brand’s latest puffer collection for a two-day event Dec. 5-6. The bounce house’s specific location will be revealed closer to the event date.

“The holidays come with enough pressure, so our goal is to make things feel easier and spark real moments of joy along the way,” said Cyntia Leo, Head of Brand Marketing at Urban Outfitters in a statement. “We’re always focused on meeting our community where they are and for the moments that matter most. This season, that meant being a bright spot in the hustle of the holidays, whether that’s a pop-up between flights, a bounce house in the middle of the city or a digital wish list on Canva.”

The pop-ups are part of UO’s “Everything, Everywhere, All You Want” holiday campaign, which includes UO’s Giving Season initiative. Through January, the initiative will support six of the brand’s long-standing nonprofit partners — Altadena Girls, Active Minds, Creatives Want Change, GLSEN, BlackStar Projects, and Asian Arts Initiative — through in-store donations and community engagement.
