DSG, Dick’s Sporting Goods’ exclusive performance apparel and gear brand, has teamed up with the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to launch a co-branded girls’ apparel collection.

As the official sporting goods retail partner of the WNBA, Dick’s already carries an assortment of WNBA apparel and equipment, but this new collection is the first collaboration creating products specifically designed for young girls. It arrives as the WNBA comes off a record-breaking season both in terms of viewership and fan engagement.

“When we entered into our partnership with the WNBA, our goal was to use our resources to drive change and bring more visibility to women and girls in sport,” said Melissa Christian, VP and Divisional Merchandise Manager for Youth Apparel at Dick’s in a statement. “This collection is inspired by white space we saw in youth girls’ apparel, and it provides young basketball fans with an opportunity to wear product that encourages them to show their love and fandom of the WNBA and express their passion for the game. We are excited to have this product available for young athletes at a time when women’s sports, and basketball in particular, are on the rise.”

The collection is now available at select Dick’s Sporting Goods stores across the U.S. and online. The line includes girls’ tank tops, T-shirts, shorts and a jacket that pay homage to the WNBA’s iconic orange and the league’s 12 teams’ colors.

Alongside the new line, Dick’s Sporting Goods will be bringing the It’s Her Shot program to select communities across the U.S. for a fourth year. The full-day program of competitions and training are designed to “empower young female athletes to take their place on the court with confidence.” The DSG x WNBA collection also is a part of DSG’s giveback program, which contributes 1% of every sale to the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation’s Sports Matter program, benefitting under-resourced youth sports organizations nationwide.
