He names four key elements of optimized operations: accurate demand forecast for the enterprise; real-time inventory visibility and a time-based view of that inventory; replenishment parameters, optimized using science; and correctly orchestrated fulfillment. Eisner says that Oracle customers have seen impressive benefits from optimized operations, such as a 10% to 40% increase in forecast accuracy, driving down inventory costs and improving service levels.
