PayPal has acquired Jetlore, an artificial intelligence (AI) prediction platform, for an undisclosed sum. The solution provider works with retailers including Uniqlo, JCPenney and Nordstrom Rack to help personalize customer experiences.
Jetlore’s service predicts color, size and style preferences for Uniqlo, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. It can also build customized email templates for individual shoppers and help retailers optimize their site search experience.

The acquisition will add new capabilities to the PayPal Marketing Solutions platform. The Jetlore leadership team, including Co-Founder and CEO Eldar Sadikov, Co-Founder and COO Montse Medina and Co-Founder and CTO Sergey Andreev, will join PayPal.
Jetlore is PayPal’s second retail-related acquisition this month following the purchase of iZettle, a small business commerce platform operating in Europe and Latin America, for $2.2 billion. The solution provider works with nearly 500,000 merchants and will help PayPal grow its in-store presence.
