The Home Depot has chosen a pricing solution from Clear Demand to help manage prices via “sophisticated rules while providing The Home Depot with an agile delivery model,” according Clear Demand in a press release.
The Clear Demand solution is designed to address business needs for transparency, speed and business rules management. The solution features the following components:
Intelligent Rules Engine, which reverse-engineers existing business rules and identified inconsistencies in pricing strategy;
Force Diagram Technology, which identifies forces affecting current and recommended prices; and
Multi-Channel Competitive Rules, which integrates online and brick-and-mortar pricing intelligence.
