Svpply, a social shopping site, has launched “We Want This!,” a program that enhances SEO by allowing retailers to build “retail districts” by targeting discounts to their most influential members in the Svpply network. The platform will provide retailers access to a visual dashboard with a snapshot of a consumer’s level of interest in their offerings. “This dashboard will give retailers a direct view, on a minute-to-minute basis, of what products from a store’s inventory have been added to the site,” said Zach Klein, Co-Founder and Chairman of Svpply, in a press release. Svpply’s Co-Founder and CEO, Ben Pieratt, discussed how creating a retail district is not a new trend, but it can help retailers enhance SEO. “The new dashboard will start with targeted discounts for the most relevant users,” he said, and is “the first step toward helping our stores build online communities.”
Svpply is launching the “We Want This!” program in partnership with three of its members’ favorite stores: Ghostly, LN-CC and Need Supply. Beta discounts from those stores will be given to 8,000 members.
