Datalogic Releases Shopevolution 7 To Guide In-Store Shopper Experience

Datalogic has released Shopevolution 7, an in-store shopper guidance platform that includes self-shopping, “queue busting,” and store floor applications. The platform works with smartphones or Datalogic Joya devices within stores, and can be customized to fit each brand’s specific look and appearance.

Retailers using the platform can amplify the shopper experience through:

  • Self-Shopping: While shopping, customers can check a list of all products previously scanned and have access to an up-to-date total of their purchases, additional store offers, personalized promotions, discounts and indoor navigation;

  • Queue-busting: Provides retailers an option for managing periodic demands on the checkout, cutting queues without the need to open extra checkout lanes, eliminating the risk of possible loss of sales due to poor customer service;and

  • Store Floor applications that can be used for the stock room, retail floor shelf-replenishment, inventory checks, markdowns, price checks, in-store picking, shipping/receiving, Gift Registry, assisted sales and click-and-collect.

Because it is a cloud-based system, retailers don’t need to host the Shopevolution server within the store, cutting costs for hardware, software and maintenance services.
