Schnucks Markets, Inc. has named David A. Peacock, former President of Anheuser-Busch, as President and COO. Peacock will be responsible for managing procurement/merchandising, operations, marketing/communications and supply chain for the company’s 100 stores.
During his tenure at Anheuser-Busch, Peacock managed U.S. operations and was responsible for the company’s integration with InBev in the United States. He led the negotiating team for the company during its merger with InBev in 2008.
“Dave’s entrepreneurial spirit, vision and drive, along with his extensive business background will help us set a strong course for the future,” said Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck in a statement. “His counsel and leadership on our company’s Advisory Board have been instrumental in positioning Schnucks for growth.
