LIDS Gains Customer Insights With ShopperTrak

LIDSlids store and Locker Room by LIDS selected ShopperTrak to provide solutions designed to help the retailer enhance its in-store operations and gain insights into customer behaviors. These solutions are designed to allow LIDS, a subsidiary of Genesco, to accurately measure in-store traffic, evaluate store promotions and optimize labor scheduling. The retailer offers sports headwear, apparel, accessories and novelties in 1,350 locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

LIDS implemented ShopperTrak’s perimeter analytics solution in 20 retail locations in a pilot program that began in November 2014. After the successful pilot, the retailer is beginning a large-scale rollout. LIDS plans to use the insights gained from ShopperTrak to increase conversion rates and improve shopper experience.
